As I enter - as Admin - a new blog entry posted on a prevouis date the programs warns me with

"entry Date is not a valid date"

Is it possible to add blog entries in the Past?

(this may be a stupid question, since the blog always acts in the Present, just asking...)

Hi Davide,

there are not stupid questions, don't worry. When entering a new entry, the Blog module only checks if the date is in correct format. You can add a new entry with a past date as long as it complies to the appropriate date format of your blog's culture. I wonder if you are from Italy, and if you are used to the dd/mm/yyyy date format instead of mm/dd/yyyy that may be wrongly configured in your blog settings. In this case, a date like 20/12/2008 would not validate, this one instead would validate: 12/20/2008.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

thanks Dario.

Yes I'm from Italy, as you, probably.

I'm trying to set up a blog on Dnn, and you'll probably hear about me on these threads again, because I'm not that good on this Cms.

bye for now.
