I get the same problem.

Basically a vanilla Windows 2003 server with all the latest patches and service packs. It's a remote server, so the install was to an HTTP location.

Followed the instructions to a T, but when I finally run the default.aspx after htting Ctrl-F5, I get that error.

I am using the current version of SQL Server Express 2005.

Okay, one thing I noticed you didn't post was the install version you are using. Starter Kit, Install or Source? The problem could be as simple as that. If it can't find a .dll it needs it will return the error you describe.

Joey.
