Thank you very much for the heads up Alex.  I'll be keeping my eyes peeled.

I'm really excited about 5.0.1 being released.  Of course, we're not going to recommend our clients move to it right away, however, if nothing comes up in the first couple weeks after it is released, I think I'll be pretty confident in recommending it to our customers.  Even though 5.0 has taken a lot of flack on the forums, if you look at the issues, it hasn't been anything super-major, just a bunch of little annoyances and pains.  From the way that Gemini looks - it looks like everything on the 5.0 front will be cleaned up when 5.0.1 gets released.

On another question - will DotNetNuke.com be upgraded to 4.9.2 or will it be upgraded straight to 5.0.1?

Well..  don't get too excited.   Everyone I know has rolled back from 5.0.0 or not even attempted it yet.   I have not seen anyone post that they have upgraded to 5.0 (pre 4.9).    It takes time before people even try a new major version and time to push it.   I will attempt it again at 5.0.1.

Sorry, Brian, but this does not meet reality.

DNN 5.0.0 provides new features, new users may now benefit from. Existing users, who really has a need for those improvements may upgrade, if applying a few workarounds for issues, which will be fixed in DNN 5.0.1. Other users may savely stay with DNN 4.9.x, 4.9.2 will fix the few issues identified in 4.9.1. This includes all international users who have to deal with language packs, we will do our best to re-implement usability for this area in DNN 5.1.

Please, I am begging, release 4.9.2 so we can fix these problems! Sebastian is right that there is no way I will upgrade until I'm absolutely convinced. I really feel burned right now on 4.9.1. You guys do amazing work and I really hope you will heed our concerns and release the patch so everyone feels comfortable.
