Hi. Yes, I believe they did fix this in the web.controls file but I am not sure specifically if that was released as an update or you would have to download it as a seperate download.

Either way, the work around we are using within the latest versions of our modules seems to work just fine.

Add a 'fake' DNNMenu control. This will force the DNN Web Controls to basically add the appropriate missing .js files that don't get rendered if you were just using the label edit control etc...

Just a note... If this is actually your issue then you should not get the error in edit mode, and only get the error in view mode. If you get the error in both edit and view its probably not the same issue.

Thanks for the reply Chad! I added the line to my skin:



and then I added this line too:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="DNNMenu" Src="~/Admin/Skins/menu.ascx" %>

but this didnt resolve it. Then I upgraded from DNN 5.2.1 to 5.2.2 but that didnt help either....

any idea where I can get the most up to date web.controls?

I am pretty sure I am having the same issue because I get the error in IE on view but not edit and the only module I have on the page is Dynamic Forms :)

I believe this fix is part of this release.
