 Thanks Ken but that did not work for me.

May this be some how related to the fact that I am using SQL SERVER 2008 EXPRESS?

I have exactly the same problem, and can't solve this following the tutores I found.

I did a new installation - not an upgrade. I use Vista 32 Enterprise, VS 2008 Professional and SQL2008, and ended up with

Tomas,

did you try to edit web.config file to restart application? did you validate the IIS settings, try to open a simple hello.html and hello.aspx file you place in the root of your site to identify the source of your error?
