Bill,
I have Windows 7 and IIS ver is 7.5, I'm running Under Default App Pool which is utilizing .Net Framework version 4, Mode is Integrated,
After reviewing your post I tried ASP.NET v4.0 App Pool and it's the same behavior.
Thanks for your reply

I found the fix for this issue,
Under the <handlers> node in your web.config file

<

add name="LinkClickHandler" path="LinkClick.aspx" verb="*" type="DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FileServerHandler, DotNetNuke" preCondition="integratedMode,runtimeVersionv2.0" />

Make sure you are pointing to the right runtimeVersion as u have setup in the IIS app pool
So I my case, Since I'm running on Windows 7,IIS 7.5 and having .Net version 4, i changed the precondition from
preCondition="integratedMode,runtimeVersionv2.0 to preCondition="integratedMode,runtimeVersionv4.0

Rest stays the same
I hope it helps
Thanks
Sanjiv

Sanjiv . . .

I'm glad that you worked out the solution on your own. If I had seen your reply last evening, that is the fix I would have suggested since the site was running under ASP.Net 4.0.

sorry about adding to this really old thread.
I had the same issue (thank you for the solution)
When updating the web.config file, I noted that there were several other dnn entries that have the same property:
preCondition="integratedMode,runtimeVersionv2.0"

Should these be updated too?
