Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue? I tried installing the newer version on FckHtmlEditorProvider, and it would not allow it to install.

you also may need to grant read permission to page editors for appropriate folders in admin >  File Manager.

To get around this in DNN 5.0 please refer to Sebastian's earlier thread response (quoted above).  You need to place a copy of the specified DLL file up one folder from where it currently is.
