I am trying to modify the GetDocuments method and SQL Procedure so that it takes an additional Parameter - UserID - and returns only documents "owned" by the specified user. I've managed to change the SQL procedure just fine, and I've found every instance of GetDocuments in the source code of the Documents Module Code (I downloaded / installed the source, not the install and then searched the entire website), but it seems to continue to just pass the ModuleID and PortalID... it's like there's a compiled DLL I can't get to change. I have rebuilt my entie website.

Note - I am using Visual Web Developer 2005, if that matters.

Thanks for any help...

Chet

 Hi Chet,

Just curious, did you modify the DataProvider abstract class and the corresponding SqlDataProvider files?

Once you have downloaded the source and made the changes, you must re-compile the Documents Module Project, and ensure that the new DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.dll file is placed in the /bin/ directory of your DNN installation.
