Using DNN 4.9

I installed DNN on my laptop (Win XP) to see how it works.  I had a couple problems with re-direct loops and other common install problems, got through them and the site is running great.

I am ready to install on my server (server 2003) to get our "real" site up.  I installed it and can connect no problem.  But things don't seem to be working as expected.

When I login as 'host' it gives me a message saying you need to update your password.  I expected the password change dialog, but no biggie, I know where the profile is so I can change it there, at least I thought so.  I click on "SuperUser Account" on the top right to access the profile, but it doesn't go.  Firefox gives no errors, it just reloads the page as if nothing happened.  IE gives an error in the status bar saying Object not found.  Again reload the page as if nothing happened.

ANother weird thing is, when logged in as host, I can't go to any of the settings pages, Admin -> User Settings, Host -> Host Settings.  It gives me a re-direct loop. When I login as Admin it did have me change my password and it does let me get to the user settings page.  I can't update my profile, same problem as above with the Host user.

I've been searching but haven't had any luck.  I'm using the same install package I used on my laptop so I know the code is identical.  I haven't made any changes, aside from updating the Admin password when I logged in as that user.  Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestions Sebastian.

I uninstalled/reinstalled AJAX and restarted IIS.  Still the same problem.  I checked the Event Log and it has no info in it that helps.
