Hi
I have recently upgraded from 3.3.7 to 4.9.1. I have a custom registration module that i wrote, which worked perfectly in 3.3.7.

In my  module running in 4.9.1, when a user registers the data is entered etc but the firstname and Lastname is set to "". I've looked through both sets of code and in 3.3.7 within the UserInfo class, there are local variables declared for said attributes, but in 4.9.1 when entering data for Firstname and Lastname is sets the UserProfile.Firstname and UserProfile.Lastname. This is the only difference, but why does my code, which simply calls the UserController.CreateUser passing my instance of a Userinfo, not add the Firstname or Lastname to the Users table?

Is there a fundamental difference between 3.3.7 and 4.9.1 in terms of user registration and do I need to recreate my module, or am I doing something else wrong?

Thanks

I can't answer your question directly, but I certainly would not be surprised to find differences between 3.3.7 and 4.9.1.

My recommendation would be that you look at the registration code in 4.9.1, and compare what is done there with what you are doing in your code.  You'll have do download the 4.9.1 source to do that.
