I have been experimenting with the MinimalExtropy skin in 4.9.

I'd prefer the skin to expand/contract with the size of the window.  I looked for a place to remove a width attribute, but I cannot find one.  In fact I am puzzled.  According to the IE Developer toolbar that part of the page inherits the width as auto.  I'd assumed that auto would mean it would resize with the container.

So how does auto fix the width?

What would be best practise to change it to?  Where would it be best practise to make that change?

 Hi Richard

The size is set in the skins css template_style

You need to change to /*-------- design style --------*/

.template_style{width:100%; margin:auto;}

I just tried this in MS Expression and it all flowed and aligned nicely. not tested on a site though.

The reason why sites that have this 100% width are not so common is that you then have to deal with the often significant layout problems of target panes / contents changing shape.

You can mitigate this to a certain extent by setting the target panes to be specific sizes.

Richard which version of DNN are you using? I've seen a full width version of the default skin in my sites, perhaps that came with 4.9.2 though.
