Hi, Hi am trying to give to a specific role the possibility to view and manage Pages trought Pages Page under Admin tree so.. my step was:

  1. log in as host
  2. go to Pages Page
  3. Select Admin Page
  4. Give to to specific Rose the View Right
  5. return to Pages Page
  6. select Pages Page
  7. Give to specific role the View right

Now, Log off and log-in with a user of a specific role and i cann see the admin tree and the Pages page but when i select the page the user is not able to view the Pages module. An error like this "You are not logged or you can'access to this content" is show.
I have also try specifying Edit right in Pages Module rights for the role.

For the File Manager Pager it's the same, but after give the edit right in File Manager module to the role the User is able to manage the file in the portal.

Any idea ?

It's this the right way ?

Thanks,
Sandro De Matteis

AFAIR there has been an issue in DNN 5.0.0, which has been fixed for upcoming DNN 5.0.1, for details check out support.dotnetnuke.com.

It helps to know speicifcally which modules you are having issues with... however my advise is:

1) Await 5.0.1 (should be a file manager fix)
2) Be aware of these issues that probably won't be fixed in this version:
