I have problem creating parent portals. It displayed file not found 404. The default page wasn't created like in childportal. I am using vista and I added an application under the default website in IIS. I also have created the folder in the wwwroot. Is there any thing I did wrong or miss doing?

my child's portals work okay for now.

Thank You

If you're creating parent portals you shouldn't be creating folders in WWWROOT, you should be pointing the applications in IIS to the same folder as your original DNN instance.

May I know how to point the applications in IIS to the same folder? Do I "Add a new website"? I am using window vista.

Thank you
