That is how it's currently setup.
10.8.3.x on top
I have also had the FQDN on top and the IP on bottom. Same, same.
In order to make the FQDN on top, I have to edit the portalalias table in SQL mgr.
Just to catch people up to speed..... you can log in my site with the following credentials and see what is going on:
username: admin
pasword: password
Make all the changes you want. If need be, I can install any version for comparison.
All these problems go away when I install DNN 4.5.1. I don't even have to add an alias for the FQDN in 4.5.1. As long as Friendly URL's is turned off, I am good to go.
Would you guys like me to install an instance of DNN 4.5.1 so you could look around that installation?
I certainly don't want to sound like a broken drum here, but if the only thing that changes is the version of DNN I install, and not my configuration, then I feel something has changed between versions. That would require me to change the way I host these sites. Interestingly enough, and should be obvious, is that if I host with a public IP address, this is not a problem.
What is the deal with newer versions of DNN and NAT?
