Hello Sir/Mam,

                      I am using Dnn 4.5 version.i am using oracle database. i am using AcuitiDP installer connect with that database.Now New document is upload the following Error should come.plz replay as soon as possible.

 

Error:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.OracleDataProvider.AddDocument(Int32 ModuleId, String Title, String URL, Int32 UserID, Int32 OwnedByUserID, String Category, Int32 SortOrderIndex, String Description) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.DocumentController.AddDocument(DocumentInfo objDocument) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.EditDocs.cmdUpdate_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Ramesh,

You mention that you are running DNN with an Oracle back end.  I am not familiar with "AcuitiDP installer connect" so I don't know what it provides.  I do know that the Documents Module includes only a SQL Data Provider.  The error message indicates that the module is looking for an Oracle data provider class and can not find it (DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.OracleDataProvider).  Did someone create a new data provider for Oracle and compile that with the module?
