I think few would argue that they have a deeper understanding of the Code than Charles, Shaun, Nik and myself who have written the vast majority of the core platform.  A lot of people use the publicly exposed methods of DotNetNuke, but few have the same depth of knowledge about all those private methods and underlying framework that is generally not used outside the core. The text you highlighted is just trying to differentiate those who typically deal with DotNetNuke at the Public API level and those who actually have to make the under the hood changes on a daily basis. 

I would also like to know the pricing structure & benifits of the pro edition.

I'm also curious if there will be a reseller system created allowing those of us that have previously been promoting the now community edition to promote the professional edition to our customers that need it?  I'd like to know that my only option isn't to send my customer to DNN Corp. and allow them to (while not maliciously or intentionally) take my customer and leave me without that revenue stream.
