Hi, I am a new user of dotnetnuke. I installed V4.0.2 (ASP.NET 2.0, SQL 2005 server) ... no errors during installation. I try to login as admin (admin/admin) ... but nothing happens, no feedback. Any idea  what is going wrong ? How can I trace errors ?

(I looked in the table users, admin userid is present  - I could not find the password, but I am new ... so I will have to dig it up )

I have a similar problem - I got my site installed, and went to change the pw for 'admin' and 'host' as suggested in the docs, and now I can't log back in.  nothing happens - just stays on login screen and clears userid/pw fields.   Is that what is happening to you too?

I am also having a similar problem. I can go to the register page and I can go to the login page but it never actually registers or logs me in. I have not managed to login even as admin/admin. There is no error, I just don't get the admin tab so I know I am not logged in. I am assuming it has to do with permissions but I have doublechecked that I have full control in the c:\DotNetNuke directory and that the trusted connection to my SQL Server 2005 is an id that is the owner of the DotNetNuke database.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Did anyone find a solution to this issue?  Everything was working fine till I changed the admin password.  Now I cannot see any admin options when I log in.
