Already been said but... I'm new to DNN... and I need to have a look at the source cod of the Wiki modle in order to make a little mod BUT I just can't get it to run in VS 2008.

VS is telling me there are missing files... like this one : DualListControl.aspx??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Regards

Sebastien

You likely need to check your references for the project, which version of DNN are you trying to compile the Wiki module with?

Oups... it was too obvious... I unzziped the files on my desktop and then open directly with VS 2008.

What would be the proper way to include the sources into my dnn 4.9.2/5.0 installation ?

Thanks

Sebastien

I recommend taking the _source package for the Wiki module and installing it into your instance of DNN like you would an _install package of the module. DNN will extract the contents of the ZIP file for you in the proper locations.

Did what you suggest but from what I understand of dnn architecture, is it suppose to be addition into the App_Code folder?

And I still got 15 warnings into VS 2008 when opening the the wiki project under DesktopModules... e.g.

Warning    1    Validation (XHTML 1.0 Transitional): This name contains uppercase characters, which is not allowed.    C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\dnn5.0Dev\DesktopModules\Wiki\RecentChanges.ascx    2    44    C:\...\dnn5.0Dev\

Warning    2    Unrecognized tag prefix or device filter 'asp'.    C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\dnn5.0Dev\DesktopModules\Wiki\RecentChanges.ascx    2    5    C:\...\dnn5.0Dev\

BTW Thanks for very quick answer!!!

Highly  appreciated

Sebastien
