Hi,

I have just created a simple flash image gallery which works through linking to an xml file which then tells the .swf file which image to show. However once I have added the .swf file to the 'media' module on my home page it seems that the flash cannot find the .xml. The actionscript within the flash is set up to look for 'images.xml' (the name of the file) and have also tried adding an extention to the folder that I have been keeping both files in. However it think that once you add the .swf file to the media module, it may create another version of it somewhere else? or a temporary file? So I think it may be due to the xml being in the wrong location can any one tell me where dot net nuke will actually be looking for the xml file if I am correct about the relocation of the .swf file,  so that i can move it to the right location?

Hope that makes sense and thank you for any help

James

 Hi James,

Try digFlash.  If you try to access the xml through a url, watch out for DNN url rewriting.  If your flash module is on www.site.com/Flash/TabID/23/default.aspx, it may look for the xml at  www.site.com/Flash/TabID/23/image.xml which doesn't exist.

Thanks,

Mike
