Okay, I need a way to remove the OpenID authentication and revert back to DNN standard authentication prompt.

Can't access the tables from SQL management studio ... still looking at possible permission issues

Couldn't restore .. although there is indication of backups ... is the express version whacky??

Tried editing the 'authentication.aspx.vb' manually to use the DNN standard login prompt ... changed reference to path in code .. no resolve

Is there another way (via code edit .. temporarily) to utilize the use of the DNN Standard Authentication prompt so I can get in the door to formally manage and reset authentication mode??

Need a back-door medley if you will.

thanks

OK here is how I resolved :

Physically replaced 'login.aspx' in the OpenID folder with the 'login.aspx' from the DNN folder (standard dnn authentication) and the associated code file.

This presented the standard DNN authentication login ... door open

Thanks for everyone's support and interest.

Barry

you might consider to upgrade to latest DNN version, uninstall and reinstall OpenID provider.
