Is there a log of the upgrade where I can see if any of the updates made to the database in the upgrade failed?  Can I re-run the upgrade?

Hi Patrick,

Take a look in your EventLog (via Management Studio if you can't log on) and see if you can get a stack trace of the exception you're experiencing.  This data will point you in the right direction for rectification.  You might also consider using SQL Profiler to check exactly which call is erroring out.

With some luck, those additional data will give you enough context to correct the problem.

So I started all over and I end up with the same error.  I do the upgrade, in the upgrade, I get the error 'error:  access to the path 'D:\inetpub...' denied.

Now I am using IIS7, so I'm not sure what permissions to change.  I set the permission for Network Service to allow everything.

So then I  end up with a system where I cannot log in.  When I try to log in, I get the error:  A critical error has occurred.  Parameter count does not match Paramet Value count.

What can I do to resolve this?
