I'm having the same problem with DNN 4.9.2.  Nothing appears in the Event Viewer.  Does anyone have a solution or at least something to try?

Hi David,

I will put together a debug build of the problematic assembly so that you can (hopefully) identify the problem.  My week is very full, however, so it may be the weekend before I can get to it.  If for some reason I fail to do so, please don't hesitate to tickle me again by posting a reminder.

Brandon

Hi David,

I have made the provider available here.  It will function only with 4.9.2, and is licensed below (as required by DotNetNuke), but only contains one change (I uncommented the LogException call).

Please back up your entire installation before replacing any files, including your database.  Replace your DotNetNuke.Provider.AspNetProvider.dll with the file located at the link above.  Perform the operation that generates the error.  Check your event log to see if an event has been logged.  If so, post it here.  Regardless, restore your original file after you've made the attempt.

I hope this is able to help you!

Brandon
