I am having a similar issue with a 4.9.1 site. I type a search parameter in the search box in the portal header and it redirects to the home page without even providing a search results page.

All are working on the checklist except the iSearchable component. The checkbox in the search results module is dimmed so I am unable to activate it. Is there something else that I need to do to active the box.

Also, as a test I inserted a search input module on my homepage and was able to produce favorable experience within the search results page so the functionalty is there, but the big problem that I have is that I can't reproduce these results via the default serach input box on the top right corner of the header... it just takes me to the homepage....

I do want to note that I have aspdotnetstorefront modules and a 3rd party skin installed/configured... not sure if they are conflicting...

Yes CJ, my iSearchable component is also greyed out and unchecked. I did the same as you, and by adding a Search input on a page, it works fine, but it is the Search input in the Header that always redirects to the homepage without displaying search results. This is terribly frustrating. I can't find any info anywhere and I can't go live with it acting this way. Is there any way to remove the search input box from the header until I can get to the root of it?

Please excuse my ignorance but I don't really understand that SQLcode - it doesn't work if I enter it as you've typed it (other than replacing "myWord").

The language I'm using is English but just to clarify, I can search on other terms so search is working, it's just not working on some words. Is there any way of forcing it to select a given word to include in the index?
