I am not sure if I am in the right forum. I am trying to support a DNN Site, that was built by some consultants that are no longer working with us. The issue I am having is with Creating a Portal. I have backed up our Production DB's and restored them on a Staging SQL Server. By the way this is Version 04.05.03 running on a SQL 2005 DB. When I create the Portals on our Staging Server, it takes anywhere between 50-90 seconds. When I create this same portal on our Production environment it take anywhere between 4- 4.5 minutes.. About 3 minutes longer. From what I can tell all the DNN settings are the same, and as I just mentioned our staging DB is a backup of our Prod DB. I have tried to create the Prod portal during off peak hours, and there is not time difference. I am wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction.
