To help answer the original question... Datasprings have a module though I've not used it. I think it's called OptIn Email or along those lines.

Another is OnyakTech's Axon, which I do use and is mostly ok though I do have security concerns depending on user access - which I've told the developer but seems to have been ignored so far. Apart from that it runs well.

The other thing I've done, is to create a simple system using OpenWebStudio - which seems to work well too depending on your needs.

Lee,

You may want to look at Mach5 Mailer or Mach5 Subscriber at www.mach5.com. I have used Mach5 in the past and have been very satisfied with it. From their website:

Not just for Microsoft Excel and Access, but connect to any data source:
Connect to any ODBC data source (i.e. MS Access, Oracle, Excel). Seamlessly access Subscriber, our web-based list management tool.
Integrated M5Script, but also use PHP, Javascript, and
Mailer allows basic users to perform tasks like variable substitution (i.e. Dear <CustomerName>), while exposing the power of a user-definable scripting language to more advanced users.
List maintenance and management, including automated "bounce" address removal.

Hope this helps.

Regards, Barrett

There are a few items that I would like to address here.

1.) Regarding the first question.  I am actually in the development stages of creating a DNN -> MailChimp integration project.  That allows individuals to use the MailChimp service to manage the lists, but users subscribe via DNN.  It is a really slick process, and should be done soon.  And can be sped up if there is community need for the solution.  (Drop me an e-mail at msellers@iowacomputergurus.com if interested).

2.) dwillcutts - For your situation, you can actually just re-write the form tag into a javascript function, most of the time it works. I have a blog article on it at http://www.mitchelsellers.com, it is under a list of items about PayPal buttons, but the same concept applies.
