I have version 04.08.04. Its very odd indeed, is there some sort of setting that makes the page columns stay even? This is only happening on my home page. I was just using two columns. Content and left, if I move a content to the right column, a hidden content and then left colmn modules pop back into view. I missed with settings that I should not have! I dont know what! I'm only being allowed to gave two modules per column. Remove one of those two and a hidden one is back in view!! errr!

Hi Sebastian,

Our performance settings are as follows:

 Clear Cache

Although, we have tried other settings and the results are about the same.  We're shooting for fast performance for regular logged in users and the performance for admins is of secondary concern.

please used disk based caching for modules, AFAIR the memory cache was broken in a few versions.

Thanks for the insight Sebastian.  We'll give it a try.

Also suggest you disable whitespace filter if you have compression enabled (will slow your site down), clear your event viewer after you've done the changes.... and then inspect the event viewer for errors a couple of days after that...

Also upgrade to 4.9.3 when it comes out (you might be able to change to memory cache then).
