FCKEditor, which is used in DNN by default, can be configured (and is by default in DNN 4.9.0 and up) to apply the site CSS to the editor area, which is implemented using an iframe. By this technique, the editor area gets apply the body style, and if a dark color has been defined, this will be applied to the editor area as well. There are several options to correct this behavior - not apply a dark color to the body or use an ID / CSS named class for skin body and apply color only to this ID/class name, or use a custom CSS file for the editor you may specify in extended editor settings.

Telerik has revised their RadEditor on July 1st, 2009...has anyone tried the latest build?  Does have improvements?  What are your thoughts on the latest build.

Thanks,

Jerry

Jerry is this available via Dotnetnuke website?  I have been having many problems with the Rad Editor.  For example, cannot left justify one line, then center justify the next, and then right justify a third line.  The editor uses <br> tags instead of <p> tags!   arrgggh..   Also bulleted lists don't behave right.

jmorissette, please be aware, that this old thread is about Telerik Editorprovider for DNN, not the editor provider from DotNetNuke Corp., which ships with DNN 5.4

Isn't the new provider from Dotnetnuke the Telerik Editor?  I am trying to understand...
