Hi,

How can i test DNN with an Oracle server? I dont have any SQL server and all the apps i want to drop into the portal are using Oracle.

You will need to purchase an Oracle Data Provider from Snowcovered or vendor's site.  Note that the provider only support the core modules and there are only a handful of third party modules support Oracle in the DNN world.

Your best bet is to test DNN with SQL Server Express (free, less featured version of SQL Server)

Hi,

Thanks for the hint. How can i test it with SQL Server though if all my apps are connecting to Oracle db? 

My company is looking into buying the dnn professional and i'm suppose to test it a little bit to see if it fits our needs or not. Dont think we will need third party modules since we build our own ones and just neet the portal to drop them in. You think DNN is not a good fit for Oracle DBs?
