I can no longer post under my usual username - Supahoopsa (hence registering under this new name in order to create this thread).

I just get an error saying I cannot create posts.

When I try to see my forum posts I get this error (this happens with my old username and my new one!!!!)

A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Anyone any ideas as to what is going on today?

Try going to the notifications options in the forum and clearing out all notifications with your other account, then try creating a new post.

I am now using my SupaHoopsa USername and I have gone to my forum settings and checked that I don't have any forums being tracked and I also clicked on the "Clear Read Status" option. I can;t see any other options to clear out notifications - I know I have subscribed to a number of threads (not that it is any use because I NEVER receive email notifications, but that is another story!)

I can reply to threads, but I still can't access "My  Posts".

If I try creating a new thread I get the following error:

Add/Edit Post

An error has occurred.
Error: Add/Edit Post is currently unavailable.

Yes I had that error for months when clicking the My Posts button. I just coped with it.
All I can say is that the forums module should be upgraded soon....

You should be able to start a new threadf if you goto My Settings/Tracking subscriptions/ make sure everything is unticked and click update.

I have the same problem like SupaHoopsa.

In MySettings/Tracking subscriptions, all are unticked. However, I still can't post new thread. T_T
