I have just downloaded Microsofts Web Platform Installer 2 and it seems that they have realised the PHP isnt going to gp away and have included it in the install options.  There is some useful looking cms packages as well including Acquia Drupel and Silver Stripe

I was thinking that certainly in terms of look and feel DNN is getting rather behind even with the new "contempory" design.

Also in terms of fuctionality one would have to suggest that one of DNNs only advantages these days is the fact that you can host more than one website from an installation.  Which I havent seen in any other CMS.

OK some do not have as many modules as DNN but on further inspection I beleive that the modules that are availble for Drupel and Silver Strip are of better quality.
