I've been working with DNN for a little while now and understand how to use a .css file.

However, I have recently run headlong into a problem. The majority of my site has the font set to Arial but the text box in the fckeditor is set to Times New Roman. I've set every instance of the text in the .css file for this as Arial but the text box still displays it as Times New Roman unless I highlight and change it all with the dropdown box in the editor. Times New Roman is also selected as the font I've selected when I haven't.

Does anyone know how to fix this so that the text will display as Arial without me having to change it in the dropdown?

in Text/HTML module, select "Advanced Editor Options" beneath the editor and switch to portal scope

Expand "Editor Area CSS" section and set type to dynamic. Apply settings for portal level and close.

Refresh Editor et voilá.

I did everything that you said that I should, but it turned the editor's style into something I can even find or have ever seen before. Is there another answer?

Alright, I figured out the problem. The page that I'm editing (which was done by someone else) put font families for some of the text, font verdana for some, and font arial for others. For whatever reason, it was reverting the tags for font arial to font Times New in the css. By giving all of these font tags a font family, the text is now showing in Arial.

Thank you for your help though.
