Hi Roger,

I thought I would add to this thread instead of starting a new one.  I just installed Events v05.00.02.  It installed with no errors.  I added a module instance to my home page.  I enabled Custom Detail URLs for the module and added a test event.  I set the URL of the detail page to an existing page on the site.  When I click the link for the event details, it gives me a 404 error.  The URL of the link is for LinkClick.aspx?link=58&tabid=40&mid=379.  The tabid is the correct tabid of the page I set for the Detail Page URL.

I have also tried adding the same instance of the module to the page I set as the detail page.  I have changed the view of the module (from List view to Month view, etc.).  I cannot seem to get this link to redirect to another page on the site.  I hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you very much,

Andy

Hi Andy,

I'll try to test this scenario. What modules have you got on the page you are trying to link to? Also, is this site available on the internet, so I can take a look?

Thanks
Roger

Hi Roger,

Thank you for responding.  No other modules on the page I am redirecting to.  The only other module on the homepage is the UsersOnline module.  I deleted this module, but I still get the 404 error.

I am working on getting this site online.  When I put it up, I will repost here with the URL.

Thank you very much,

Andy

Hi Andy,

Just so you know, I did have a look at this, and had no problem. I sed the option to linke to a page on my site and then selected a page from the drop down list, rather than entering a url. Is this what you did?

Let us know when you have the site on the internet.

Cheers
Roger
