I upgraded from 4.8 to 4.9.4 following in detail the instructions from Mitch Sellers.  When I finished I got the exact same screen as in Mitch's blog and was able to access my website and child portal just fine as a host or admin.  One problem is that I cannot access any of the pages under admin or host for the main website only (I can access those pages on the child portal).  I use 3essentials as my hosting provider.

This is the error message:

Data Transfer Interrupted
The connection to www.mireauxms.com was interrupted while the page was loading.
The browser connected successfully, but the connection was interrupted while transferring information.  Please try again.

    * Still having trouble? Consult your network administrator or Internet provider for assistance.

Any ideas for help?

Miriam

this sounds to me like an issue of the skin. does the same happen on a (admin visible only) page using default skin?

If the issues is that Portal 0 is giving you problems, but all other portals are ok, then this most likely has has to do with an SSL issue.  The solution is to go into the Tabs table and set the IsSecure column (IIRC) to false for those pages.

I checked another child portal and is ok too.  Both child portals use different skin than the main portal.  I will check the SSL.  I guess the upgrade may have something to do with that? Thanks
