I look up to the top of this page (right here in the forum), and notice the nice little red buttons on the top left.  I've found how to change the logo image, but what file should I edit to change the rest of the header content?  For example, I might want to place some google ads up there.

 you need to modify the skin (obtain skinning guide from Support > Dcumentation > Downloadable Files in menu above) or get an appropriate skin (e.g. from snowcovered) and install it.

The Skinning Guide doesn't explain how to accomplish this, as a matter of fact, it does say that you can do whatever you want to do in terms of designing skins but it doesn't explain how.

dude, the skin is made from html and asp.net programming, you cant know or ask how to make or change the skin without learning these two web development skills.
