I've made the following class and put this in the App_Code directory:

Then I created a new schedule item with DotNetNuke.Services.Scheduling.CurrentVisitorScheduledTask as full class name and DOTNETNUKE as assembly. Unfortunately the schedule never works, what am I missing here?

Thats because you put the code into the App_Code directory - so the assembly will  not be DOTNETNUKE, instead it will be something like App_Code_YourFileName_etc (I forget the exact format).

A better way to do it is to create a new blank class library project, add your code from above, reference dotnetnuke.dll, and compile.  Then your schedule item assembly will be "YourAssemblyName" (note: no .dll on the end).
