Hi,

I am having problems getting my store to connect to PayPal. Using both live and sandbox.

Whenever somone gets to  the stage where they press "Continue to Paypal" it takes them to PayPal but to the PayPal homepage and not to my PayPal Store payment area.

They end up at the url https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_home&country_lang.x=true

I have left all the urls and settings at defaults except for adding my paypal account.

The PayPal Verification URL is : https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr/

The PayPal Payment URL is: https://www.paypal.com/

I cant see what going wrong.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

Trev

Fixed It!

As I am in the UK, I had to change the PayPal Payment URL to https://www.paypal.com/uk/

Well, I thought I had fixed it but the problem has come back again....

I just don't understand what's going wrong...

It's weird. Without changing any settings I have managed to get 2 complete purchases to work, including IPN stuff but 98% of the time the process fails to bring up the correct page on paypal which displays what the customer is buying and allowing them to log in....

My sandbox accounts have been working perfectly for months so I don't think there is a problem there.

Can anyone help please?

My test shop can be found here: http://www.dinaspowys.co.uk/bank/

Try buying something and let me know what happens please?

Thanks

I am having exactly the same issue, using both sandbox and live (using a $0.01 test product). I have tried leaving the settings as default, and also adjusting the Paypal addresses for Australia (as you did for UK Trevor). Either way, it takes you to the main Paypal welcome page rather than to the payment for the item. Unlike Trevor, I havent been able to get any transaction to successfully work yet, all just go to the main Welcome page.

Trevor - I registered and went through the purchase process on your test site above and still had the same issue

Is there anyone out there who has fixed this issue that can help Trevor and I out?

I am using Store version 2.1.0 and DNN version 5.0.1 if that helps at all.

Thanks a million :)

Hi Danielle,

Sorry to hear you are getting the same problems. And as you can see, I haven't managed to get it fixed as yet....

I am on DNN 4.9.2 and I am now using the latest beta releaseof the Store.

I have a suspicion this could be brower related... I am using IE8. What are you using?

I have downloaded Firefox and installed as well. The first payment went through perfectly BUT when I then attempted a second purchase the error has appeared again....The weird thing is a seem to get part of 1 paypal page combined with their homepage. At the top of the page it says PayPal Sandbox and the name of my test shop but almost immediately below i get the paypal homepage....

Can anyone please help?

Thanks

Trevor
