It may be working for me as i am using the same base domain name, with only the prefix changing depending on where i am accessing it from.  I am logged on to blog.  Also, when i use a different prefix (www, local, test etc).  They are copies of my live site (www) that I have running on virtual machines for testing.

I might have been a bit hasty in my reply.
