Hi

Is it possible to display a message at the bottom of each page to say when the page was last updated and by whom? I am running DNN 4.08.01.

Thank you.

Derek

This type of logging isn't readily available in the 4.x series.  Some new items in 5.1 might make this more possible.

Mitchel is correct that 5.1 add's support for auditing and logging of many core objects, including pages (tabs). However, whilst that information is stored, it's not shown on the page itself, but is available within the page settings.

Any idea on how to retrieve that information?
I've got a customer that wants to show Last Updated in the footer on his website, and I simply can't find any free solutions that does the trick.
Any idea what so ever?

I'd really appreciate any kind of help... Thanks!

You could use the reports module to go into the db and retrieve the info for the page you're on. Or an even easier route would be to put a txt/html module in the footer and update the date when you make changes. By no means foolproof as you need to train people to update the date if they make changes, but a simple and free solution at least.
