Hello,

after net2.0 sp2 install my IIS stopped working with error 404.3 message dor all  asp & asp.net requests. Html files are displayed without any problems!

After searching for quite a while I found that I had to set asnet_isapi.dll to the allowed Webextensions.

After doing so IIS  displays the default.aspx only!  All other pages and links are still coming up with an 404.3 Error.

Has anybody an Idea what could be wrong? THe site was working well before the updated!

did you already restart the server? did you validate file system permission for the asp.net server? did you reregister ASP.Net using regiis?

Hi,

yes I did the whole standart stuff, restarted several times,  aspnet_regiis -i, permissions....., allow webserviceextensions....

the strange thing is, that asp.net itself in my opinion is working correctly on IIS. The default.aspx of my DNN Installlation is served correctly. 'Hello world'

 is working!

Could it be, that this has nothing to do with IIS and dotnet installation but rather a DNN specific problem? How can I ceck this? My DNN version is 491! My Boss is already getting angry :-(.

I've no clue what to do now !
