there still might be an upgrade issue, is there anything special in your admin/host menu (e.g. a 33rd party entry) and are there any hints in the upgrade logs?

No, there are no third-party modules present. I did a test-run on a testsite called "TESTDNN" before I did upgrade my production site. In this "TESTDNN"-site (4.94) only the original included modules are installed (all of them).

Another user has opened a topic as well on this issue.

I upgraded my test platform from 4.94 and I got the same error regarding the EventLog ID.  The portals worked but I could not log into the portal, attempts resulted in an error page.  I restarted my App Pool in IIS and different errors came up.  I noticed that my app pool was in Classic instead of Integrated (IIS 7 setting) .  I switched, finally got logged in as host but was still unstable.  I restarted the Application from Host settings and everything now seems perfect.  Not sure if this is useful info, but  there it is.
