Ben, what happens when you try to go to WindowsSignin.aspx? Are you getting the pop-up or something else?

I pulled for the obvious. Oh well. I might have to think about this more before I post back. I had a tough time with this too. There are so many details I cannot rememember. Your best bet, which you might have already done is to dig through this thread. I typically post my solutions when I have them so others can benefit. It has just been too long.

I am not too keen on the limitations of the AD provider in DNN for multiple reasons. I also use EZ AD Employee Directory. The combination of the provider and this module is messy. A company called "Glanton" purchased the bits from the Employee Directory company and they are redeveloping to provide a product that combines an AD provider and user directory. I have a couple of feature requests into them and will jump on that solution as soon as it is available. I understand the development of the AD provider may be done now and they are finishing the directory portion soon. This might be worth a look. Google them and let them know you are interested....if you are :-).

And I'm assuming 10.0.7.209 is how you get to your server normally rather than say.. http://myserver? Off the top of my head, mainly because I don't have any access to a non R2 2008 server anymore, is to try some of the things Michael Tobisch did in his posts immediately proceeding yours. I.E check that a web.config hasn't been created in the DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory directory. If there is one then delete it.
