Ok so you are saying it worked before you changed it? You are right I can't see anything that stands out, but you do have some other third party elements that might affect it.

Did it work correctly in the beginning and your changes made it break? Or did it never work at all?

Hi Nina

Thanks for the reply and working your way through all that code.

It has never worked, no matter what container I attach to the skin, the background colour turns black. This happened from the day 1.

However, if I use an image for a background it retains the background of the image. But I want the page to load fast so I don't want to bulk up the skins with extra images. Also in order to use the speerio colour changing skin object, I can only use a background colour for the container so that the colour can change if required, to suit people with bad eyesight.

So I can only put it down to third party elements, but I don't know what, I am not using anything obscure. Any suggestions?

BTW I don't know if this is related but this morning, I was editing a module on my home page and after I had updated it, I was locked out of the module. In fact I was locked out of all the modules. I tried to open edit or delete a module, but the go button was not working. So at the time of writing I find myself still locked out of the modules.

Aarrrhhh! I had long blonde flowing locks and now I am bald.

Have you had a look at the Speerio CSS files? Have you tried to change the colour pallete?

Have you tried to apply any container to a different skin?

I think the "transparent" color may be the culprit. CSS issues are not easy to troubleshoot by proxy. If you wish, you can email me a URL at nik.kalyani at dotnetnuke.com and I'll troubleshoot. Nik
