Also, don't forget that IMC does not play well when either module has been placed in an AJAX UpdatePanel - either explicitely or by the module control being automatically wrapped in an UpdatePanel if "Supports Partial Rendering" has been enabled on the control in the module definition. Here's a bit more detail and an alternative for DNN 5.x anyway from Jon Henning:

Hi Elie,

I'm using code virtually identical to yours - including using the Text property - in DNN 4.09.02.  It is working fine for me.

Best wishes,

hi All,

First i would like to appologize for misunderstanding how DNN Works.

Second , thanks William for pointing me to correct my error where i have enabled Partial redering on my module.

The Communication between my modules worked fine when i removed the partial rendering.:)

Sorry again, it was my mistake.

Also i would like to know what did "Brandon Haynes" meant when he said : I recall it is performed very early in the control lifecycle.

Regards

Elie
