I notice with the upgrade to version 4.00.03 (DNN Version 4.8.01) the addition of a 'read more ...' feature appears at the bottom of every announcement. My problem with this is there is nothing else to read, it all fits within the page display. When one clicks the 'read more...' it goes to an empty page.

Is there a way of turning off this feature either globally or individually per announcement? Assuming this is not working as desgined.

Please advise.

Regards.

To remove the dead Read more... link, select Settings from the Announcements menu.

Look at the "Item Template" section. Near the end there is a [MORE] entry. Change it to [READMORE] and press the update button.

The Read more... link should not disappear.
