This is the entire path and message:

Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke441\Config\Backup_2009713164\web_.config'.

Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke441\web.config' is denied.

I followed the instructions here.

http://www.mitchelsellers.com/blogs/articletype/articleview/articleid/28.aspx

Also, this is my connection string:

  <connectionStrings>
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2008 Express -->
    <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=.\SQLExpress;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|Database.mdf;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005/2008
    <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Server=(local);Database=DotNetNuke;uid=;pwd=;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
    -->
  </connectionStrings>
  <appSettings>
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2008 Express - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules   -->
    <!-- add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Data Source=.\SQLExpress;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|Database.mdf;" / -->
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005/2008 - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules
    <add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Server=(local);Database=DotNetNuke;uid=;pwd=;"/>
    -->

Can anyone see what I am doing wrong?

Thanks so much!!

Strange... I'm getting a similar issue for DNN 5.1.1.   I've installed DNN a few times in a dev environment, but this is the first time I've come across this message.  I guess I'm a little rusty... I'll have to search around a little more to see what I'm doing wrong.

Hi ryguy7272 ,

Try going into IIS and giving Write permissions (I think it's only Read by default).  That seems to have done the trick for me...
