I'm having the Same Problem,

My Server’s Time zone is GMT-6, I have configured my portals default time zone as GMT+2, My Accounts Time zone is GMT+2, My forums Default Time zone is GMT+2 all posts by me and other members on the forum are displayed as GMT-6, i.e. if I post something to my forum at 13:00 local time I expect it to show me the post was made at 13:00, however it shows the post as having been made at 05:00. no combination of portal, forum and account time zone settings fixes this.

Dear Friend.

yeah, I saw that too. I thinks that is because the current DNN routines are taking only site time zone and user time zone when making time calculations. I had the same problem using the news articles module from www.ventrian.com

and there was a talk there about this:

http://www.ventrian.com/Support/ProductForums/tabid/118/forumid/4/postid/8900/view/topic/Default.aspx

I really don't know if has been reported to Gemini or if the core team has knowledge of this because I did not made a research on this.

The forums use their own calculation for the times. There are a couple places it was missed (in posts view only I think) and maybe some whats new times.

I can assure you the majority of it works but its a matter of setting up properly. I am not sure how to explain it any more clear than I already have, sorry folks.

It's a DNN 3.2.2 install.

As you pointed out the changes were effective on this forum as soon as I modified my settings but it does not work on my site. Do I need to upgrade to DNN 4  ?

Thanks for your help

Leif
