I have the same problem on two different installations ( DNN 5.2.1 and 5.2.0)

On my installation standard payment url already was https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr/

I tried to change the link to https://www.paypal.com/se/cgi-bin/web...   (since I found that tip somewhere and I am in Sweden) but it does not work either

I still get linked to the paypal login page

I am very confused ...could a firewall on the server cause this?

Which version of the Store module do you use? Is the Sandbox settings is checked?

It is version 2.1.0 on both servers
 
 I have only run it once with sandbox checked and came to the login for paypal sandbox after checkout.  
 

Here I could not login with my normal paypal account (I guess you need a separate sandbox account) so I decided to go for sharp trials instead and mostly tried with the sandbox unchecked.

Hi,

You should not use the version 02.01.00 with DNN 5.x because it look like it works but a lot of errors are generated inside the site log. Login to your site and go to Admin > Log, you will understand. You should use the last version 02.01.28 available at Codeplex, there is also a new Templating Guide. Please download both and read the first part of the guide if you have modified your templates. Test the last version on a local copy of your web site before upgrade the production site.

Concerning the Sandbox, I do not talk about a sandbox account. In the Store Admin module, under the Gateway provider section you have a settings named Use PayPal 'Sandbox', this one should be unchecked. When this setting is checked, you have to be connected BEFORE to the developper.paypal.com web site with your developper account. Please read the PayPal documentation for details.

Thank you - the new version of the store really contained some upgrades.

After upgrading it still did not work though - until I changed to Sandbox and completed a buy .

After som extensive testing it seems like that I caused the problems myself by trying to change the paypal language to Swedish (SE) even though the help says it is not available :-)  After changing to SE in language I get the same problem with paypal just appearing with login - it doesnt matter how much I change the language or other settings - not until I change to sandbox and run a complete buy it is somehow reset and I can then remove sandbox and it is working again.

So I would like to report that as a bug  (user should not be able to change to faulty language and somehow hang the shop)

AND I would really like to post a whish - since paypal is available in Swedish and other languages wouldn't it be possible to ad that to the shop -Please
