If you are using html inside seperatorHTML, use html codes instead for < , " , >

Then it will work fine

Example

seperatorHTML = "& lt ;img src=& quot ;/Portals/0/Skins/broadmap/images/navigation_divider.gif& quot ;/& gt ;"

Note: in above example remove spaces between & and lt and ; etc...

I need to create a menu with only the root menu items,i.e., the menu shouldnt display sub menu items when I hover over the root items. Is this achievable? Please help me out.

Thanks,

I am trying to accomplish the same thing.  I have it "almost" working in that it hides the sub menus for everything except the active tab.  Does anyone know how to set up the new menu properly?  There is a real lack of documentation/support on what should be a major selling points for DNN 5.x

Changed the URL, since the one you posted is a temporary one.

How were you able to achieve hiding submenus?
