Hi,

I am looking for custom search module which will select the data from the database and show it to the user similar to action search in php???

Any Help will be appreciated. Is it possible through dotnetnuke search module??

Hi. I have been looking for the same kind of thing. I want something that will list all available modules (News, events, entire site, forums) and so on and let the person doing the search decide on what they want to search on. How possible is this to do? And how easy is it?

I've never seen anything such as this, you'll likely have to write it yourself.  Or modify the existing search.  Or use a Google Custom search.

I am not sure, if users know by default, where to look for expected results (why does Google offer by default a text box only ;) ).

However, it should be easy to extend the search results module to add a page/module selector. (option to adopt it to your needs is a major advantage of Open Source Software).

Do you have some sort of simple example on how to do something like this?
