I am using 5.1.1. Why when I delete a portal, its user is not deleted? If DNN doesn't do hard deletes anymore, how does the softdelete work?  The IsDeleted column in the 'users' table is still '0' for the portal that was deleted. Doesn't soft delete update this to a '1'?

Now when I recreate the same portal with the same username, I get an 'A user already exists...' error. I don't want to use a different user name.

I have to manually remove that user from the database. I don't see a user maintenance option in the host level to do user manintenance across the portals.

"isDeleted" in users table is evaluated for superusers only, all other user's status information get's stored in UserPortal record.

AFAIR a request for user re-animation has already been logged into Gemini.

How does a superuser delete a user in a portal.. does he need to log in as host in that portal and delete the user? Is this when IsDeleted value changes?

Is there a way to select the soft-deleted user account(s)? I am attempting to add a user account via code, but if it has been previously deleted, I am unable to do this. I get a response saying that the username exists, but I am unable at present to select the user account via the DNN API.
